Expanding the Arts
We believe the arts are the essence of the community and the youth are its lifeblood. By adding Arts curriculum to community schools & offering community space to young people for after-school programming, we enhance Rogers Park’s vivacity.

Art in the Schools
We look forward to working with local schools by offering six-week & yearlong arts programming. Our resident artists are certified art educators who have taught in local schools & have developed exciting, effective & engaging curricula.

Art After School
We provide a safe & inclusive space for youth to come and express themselves creatively. Our professional artists are teamed with 1-2 youth to create art in various media on a monthly basis. Each month, the artists will put together a show exhibiting their work. The youth then are exposed to earning money through art & learning how to network, promote & build community.

Rogers Park is a vibrant community and one of Chicago’s most diverse neighborhoods. Chicagoans from virtually every ethnic, religious & socioeconomic background as well as numerous immigrant communities are proud to call Rogers Park their home. Among the diversity, Rogers Park is full of accomplished artists who travel to other parts of the city to gain visibility and/or working space. We believe the artists in Rogers Park should have the thriving arts scene that brings visibility & business to them and their community.
